From shop floor beginnings through to Managing Director, Andrew has operated within his own business environment, distribution and warehousing, and is intimately acquainted with the pressures and demands of running a successful company.
As head of the business, Andrew planned its development and expansion, successfully growing turnover from £1 million to £12 million and the workforce from 15 to 180 personnel.
During his time in charge, net profits grew to a very healthy seven figures. Andrew also enhanced his interpersonal and business skills through high level contact with legal professionals, financial advisors, architects, builders, business and IT consultants.
On paper it sounds easy… it was anything but! Growing pains, customer demands and a myriad of business difficulties had to be addressed.
Andrew had to skillfully navigate the complex and highly charged challenges that are unique to a fast-growing business, often with widely conflicting and passionate views which only shareholders can generate.
